Do they have any redeeming qualities?


All I ever see is someone having a good time with an OC here and there. Than they do it more. Than more. And either go through a mini hell quitting or start using H.


Do people use these over long terms without fucking themselves over? And even if they do manage to afford the pills and stay afloat did it ever enhance their life for the better?

No matter what with long term use your tolerance is going to get jacked. Taking like double or triple your dose every day to get the same effects with any drug is going to eventually "fuck you over" in some shape or form. Personally I reserve Opiates for those special occasions of brilliant impulsive drug consumption.

Moderation is the key.

Ok cool. Cause I've made poppy tea only a few times (like less than 5) and kinda liked it. But that was almost 2 years ago.


Recently I was considering getting an OC or vic and doing a half when I roll my paycheque blunt this wkend. But I really would rather avoid a potentially slippery slope. Maybe I'll try one around my birthday and stick to a once a year sort of thing.

I'm just wondering how much and how long (for someone with zero tolerance) before I'd start wanting more.

Like with cigarettes I had one than none for a long time. Than a few when I drank than everyday.

Now I'm a few days into seriously quitting. But the progression from never smoking to becoming a smoker came way too easily.

moderation is key. opiates every now and then are a gift from god. any more than that and it becomes messy.

yeah. ive seen too many A&E Interventions with doped up kids who didn't know when to call it a day. That show's good for keeping you in check.

if you can put it down after a couple days of abuse/use, then they are pretty safe
its all about self control and how much you have, i just buy myself a couple 80s and do em up in a few days and not think about them for a month or two

Wow you people are fucking retarded. OC is called hillbilly heroin for a reason. I've seen more people fuck up with that shit and H. They both are equally addictive, H is just more economical of an opiate.

I've done my share of opiates and sure after a prolonged period of use the first day or two quitting will suck, but you take the bad with the good.

Will power is what it comes down to. Some have it and some don't. I have it. Don't let it fuck up your life. It really is that easy though it can seem hard.

I never have used needles though from what I understand that is a different ball park. I've seen that shit go sour.

I have been using opiates for almost 3 years now.

I don't use OC it is way too pricey I usually get methadone heroin and opium along with the weak mood enhancer opiates like: codiene and hydrocodone:thumbdown:.

I dont really keep track but yes I have upped doses before with all of them.

remember moderation is key, opiates are not everyday drugs they are not even every weekend drugs these are the drugs you should really take the reputation into consideration they will get you if you don't watch yourself.

enjoy opiates once in while for special occasions.

BTW

anytime I start to fiend or have withdrawal symptoms for a drug I stop and pick up later on down the road and thats it I avoided problems with coke, opiates, benzos and alcohol that way. All of which I still use on occasion......self control.

4 sure if people were informed about proper responsible opiate use I would think there wouldn't be as many junkies, because they are going to use either way and dont understand that even if they only use heroin everyday for a week or two it can be a bitch to quit.

plus since we are drug users people might take our word seriously instead of just brushing it aside like they do the media and school dare programs.

Care to point out the key differences (dosage and effects) between hydro, OC, H. I've been on morph twice in my life and both times administrated by a doctor.

as for dope sickness... does that kick in as soon as your tolerance rises significantly or do you have to be using for like a solid week?

You can use daily and have a great time/life. As long as you don't run out :grin:.

I would probably be better off being opiated everyday, I work so much better on opiates and I am far more motivated. But things have prevented me from wanting to do that. Like...felony for possession, high cost of a habit, etc.

Hmmm... I just spent the past two days on a half gram of diesel for the first time in about half a year.

It's almost impossible to do only occasionally, mostly because of the vicious cycle involving more and more people you know being users the longer you use. Also, with narcotics there is a tendency to feel no withdrawal after the first few times. This leaves a false impression of invincibility, then after about 3-7 days of straight using the first minor withdrawals turn up. This reinforces further use to kill the withdrawal, which drives up tolerance and use, thus driving up withdrawal.

It's a great drug, but a terrible habit. Unfortunately, prohibition drives the use underground so it's hard to avoid the culture around it if one wishes to use occasionally. I personally find it much easier to use sparingly when it's possible to avoid the scene, players, and city dealers.

Opiates won't totally fuck you, but the combination of yourself with the opiates almost certainly will.

Be careful.

THIS is the type of response I was looking for. Much thanks.


What would you recommend as a starting opiate and starting dose for it. I'm about 6'3, 180-190lbs, and looking for typical effects nothing too strong... just enough to get into the state without nodding hard.

I made poppy tea a few times about 2 years ago used about 3-4 largish pods (tennis ball). Mild-Medium effects.


..and don't worry I take everything people recommend with a grain of salt and usually look for the most repeated and confirmed information.

I used to have an addictive personality. But have since gotten my life in order.

And I would love to try out 2cb over an opiate any day. LSD even better. Just getting a source without having to deal with shady people (shady based on how they act, not what they do).

To de-rail my own thread: What is the deal with RC's? Without being specific or braking any rules what kind of vendor sells them? What's the legal side of things in Canada (I dont think we have an Analog act)?

There is a ton of conflicting information out there that is coming in fast than I can grasp it.

Canada is pretty lax on legislation with all the analogs and whatnot, I'm pretty sure. And there are some semi-legit establishments you could get them from in Canada, if I'm not mistaken.
