That’s something I’d like to experiment with a little more, I’ve heard clones can act differently in different growing conditions, but to what extent I’m not sure. There are so many variables to growing, especially in soil, where nutrient ratios affect uptake. So I can see where adding ferts could alter the terpene profile. That said, if I don’t add anything to my soil, I get deficiencies up the ass because I live in an old strawberry field that was farmed and tilled for generations without having those nutrients or food web microbes replaced. Agriculture is give and take, and if you keep taking without giving back, eventually things become unbalanced. That’s why I recommend mulching, it’s about sustainability, which revolves around soil health, which is largely determined by the microbes in the soil food web, which are most active in the inch or so of soil directly underneath the mulch layer.

I’m keeping my expectations low, so I won’t be disappointed if it goes to shit. But you’re right, my bad vibes are going to turn my weed into Debby Downer Diesel. I ought to work on that with some shrooms, but I couldn’t harvest my pans with my back the way it’s been. I really need the shoebox I threw together before all that to produce.
That and maybe to listen to less Des Rocs…
