best method for harvesting opium from poppies other than lancing

Well? I'm picking some fresh poppy pods tomorrow, but don't want to take time for the latex to ooze/dry etc.

there really is no other way w/o chems to extract, if you go with chems you'd be most likely converting t diacetylmorphine.

it's much easier to be patient, and score the pods.

u don't "Pick" pods to lance them anyhow, u leave them ON the plant, and you do this before it blooms, when the raised ring around the top of the bulb turns brown/black/dark,

it only takes over night to collect a decent amount.

I know you don't pick them, but I'm not spending the night near these poppies and didn't want to take the time to lance them

is there so many that you can't do it in a few hours?
you don't have to wait around with it, come back next day, and scrape up with a decent knife.

I will be around these poppies for a total of 4 hours. how can I get high from them?

in that four hours, lance them, come back tomorrow, harvest the latex. that easy. they don't milk instantaneously.

I don't know your body weight and what have u but u could make pod tea, but then again, you'd have to dry them to even do that. That can take several days.

I guess u did make it clear, but you're going to have to make it an option, or reschedule your harvest.

or just harvest them all to dry and make pod tea.
drying that many pods can take weeks. Depending on your drying methods.

what about just eating the latex as it comes out? will there be a loss of potency if I don't let them dry?

I have read of people lancing pods and sucking the latex up as it oozes out and getting so fucked up they woke up hours later all dirty in the poppy field.

That is the kind of advice that can get people killed, dosage couldn't be monitored in this situation and overdose could be the result.

There will be more water content. Dosage couldn't be considered, u could overdose and die. It doesn't really come out that fast anyhows, but u could get too carried away, especially trying to suck the pods. :dumblol:

well, I did it, and it was fine. Lanced 2 pods each and came back for the latex in 2 hours, got exactly as messed up as we were hoping. :cheers:
