I am drinking coffee and eating bacon and cheese sandwiches while studying herbs.
I found this great channel.  Homie is dead now from cancer, but he cultivated many herbs and does walkthroughs on YouTube.

I can see why, pork has a unique flavor, and I know a ton of people who don't like fish.

I don't know if I've tried a meat that I didn't enjoy (yet).

That said, I haven't ventured out too far from fairly standard food animals. I'd say sea urchin, snake, alligator, and squirrel are about as exotic as I've gotten. I don't really seek out exotic meats though.

There are a few veggies that I don't enjoy, but that's usually a texture thing more than a taste thing, so relative ripeness, prep, and cooking methods make a big difference for me on certain veggies. One example is woody (late harvested) asparagus, or overcooked (slimy) asparagus. Another example would be stemmy stewed collards, there's a proper way to clean and cut collards for stewed greens, and a lot of restaurants suck at it.

I tried lions mane for the first time today.  I made a lions mane and onion sandwich, seasoned with garlic, salt, and pepper, with a little lime-chipotle mayo on the bread.  It gave me an instant desire to grow enough lions mane to eat it every day.  Mushrooms are scary man, not even once... :feelsbatman:

Gluten and dairy are the banes of my culinary existence.  I ate some candy a few weeks ago that had wheat flour and threw up a few hours later.

I think I'm going to make another oreo cheesecake tomorrow.

I bought this huge bag of Reishi Mushroom Extract.  It was cut with Dextrin so you could pour it.
It tastes great.
They should really call the product "Reishi Mushroom Extract with Dextrin."

I have a Jo I like to practice with.  I like to practice Tai Chi.  My focus is on strengthening the Chi flow and meditating.  It is the basic for Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Releasing blockages and relieving excesses and deficiencies in people is the basic of that.  I started practicing Silat and Escrima in 1993 and switched to Tai Chi in 2008.  I practiced Karate for a few years as a tiny kid!  Peace.  Mike.
