First time cooking/infusing with Mary. It's 17.3 grams marijuana/12oz vegatable glycerin. I broke it up by hand but i was told it needed to be finer so I'll crumble after Decarb next time.
I decarbed my reefer at 240° for 45 minutes
Transferred into Jar
Gently poured 12oz vegatable glycerin over the decarbed mary. Im going to use a wide mouth jar next time and pour VG even slower to better cover the Mary. I had to push it down with a spoon this time because it didn't seem covered well enough.
Added lid and ring
With the jar upright gently roll back and forth for a few minutes in hands to mix.
I'll agitate it every week or so by repeating the last step.
Place in dark cool room to infuse.
I'll update as I go. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
'The glycerin method without heating would take a very long time, maybe months? I bake my glycerin/cannabis mixture at 180 degrees for 10 hours in the oven.
My tip to you is unless you have a problem with alcohol, strain the veggie matter into a new jar, cover the veggie matter with Everclear or whatever high proof stuff you have. Now you can shake the jar for a week. Now strain the alcohol into the jar with the glycerin. I call this combo "Sweet Sleeper" because I use mine for sleeping. The alcohol extraction will get all the THC and the taste of the glycerin and alcohol isn't too bad.
