So my buddy gave me his DJ mixer since he doesn't use it. I'm pretty stoked. Looks like it could be fun. I got a lot of reading to do on this subject lol.

Nice man! I have an Arturia Microbrute analog synth, just picked up a Korg Monotron delay mini synth that is on the way, and a korg Volcan beats on the way as well.
Planning on mixing and recording some electronic music soon.
have you figured out how to use it? What kind of music do you plan on mixing/creating?

True man, I've been saving all of my cheese for the past few years in order to afford some gear, plus help from my family, woman, and job (these crazy niggas gave me 250$ in amazon credit for xmas).

Oh nice. I wanna pick me up a synth someday. And cool, what kind of edm you gonna produce? Or you gonna do your own thang?
And nah I'm just now learning how to use it. It came with some programs. The main one called Traktor. It seems this is just a basic set up. You can hook up sub's,turntables,amps, etc though. I'm probably just gonna fuck around with different beats and shit. But I'm really info dubstep,drum and bass,house and shit lol.

Same, I'm really into house beats so I will try to incorporate some influences in there but pretty much try to do my own thang.
