After a looooooong hiatus, Im finally back! 
Recreational Weed is finally legal in my state of Oregon. Which means cultivation is legal too. Its a dream come true.
No more cops, no more legal trouble. All i got to worry about is thieves, so this might be a semi-stealth grow.
But for now, its small enough to grow outdoors. Once it gets too cold/wet or too visible outdoors, Im likely moving it indoors for flowering.
I got this plant FREE from a friend of my GF. It was a baby seedling when I got it, now its about 3 weeks old.
Anyone wanna guess the strain??

my plant is coming along just nicely.
I just started it on a fertilizer today to help it grow. its Miracle Grow all-purpose with a NPK ratio of 30-10-10.

Well, its been awhile since I updated!
Finally transfered the mini plant to a larger pot. My original plan was to buy a brand new, nice looking, larger pot, but i got fired from job, so im broke and I am using this pot instead.
For the transfer, i used Inverted's advice and massaged up the rootball so it was loose and put it in the soil.
Also, i added a bunch of perlite to the soil to make it "semi-hydroponic" as karaode suggested over at the Shroomery. Never done it, but hey, perlite is real simple and adding it couldnt hurt.
Now its going to get a real nice size

My plant's doing pretty good.
Some leaves near the bottom turned yellow then fell off. Ive read thats pretty normal.
Also, on the top growth leaves, there is some yellow tip burning. Likely from my fertilizer 30-10-10. Next grow im going to try find a 30-0-0 fert.
I would its over a foot now. I will likely flower this month, since the year is coming to an end, and typical flowering is around 8 months.

Photos From October 20th, 2015: First Day of Flowering.
This photos were taken 3 days ago from today. I moved the plant to a dark spot in my backyard where the LED outdoor lights would not hit the plant.
I just realized that i am flowering this plant WAY too late. I was trying to veg the plant to a larger size, but it was growing so slow, this is big as it got.
Oh well, Ive updated my mood to reflect where Im out, Screwed.
If it dies before ending its flowering, oh well, theres always next year to grow another

Well, my plant died.
Dont really feel like posting pics. Temps got too cold, and it died. Oh well, it was a hard learning experience about outdoor growing in the PNW.
Next year, I am going to start a new outdoor grow project in Spring, should go smoothly.
RIP plant.

Outdoor grows are always tough due to having to deal with so many issues involving climate changes, pests and thieves. So many things to worry about and keep a watch out for. Hate to hear that your plant died. I would stick to indoor growing during the cold weather months. When I first read your thread and saw you were in Oregon and the plant was still in veg in the middle of October I knew it would probably die due to the frost.
