Got my hands on a couple 25mcg Fentanyl patches...

Never tried this stuff before, and recommendations on how to use it? From what Ive read if you stick to your body like directed it'll take up to 16 hours for pain relief and you wont get any high at all. I was thinking maybe cutting one up into thirds and chewing on it? I have a moderate to high tolerance to opiates.

The patches I have cant be extracted. They aren't gel, they're basically just stickers.

I cut one into quarters and Im chewing on one now for 10 minutes then I'll remove it and see if it does anything. I'll report back if I die.

Ive found several posts on erowid suggesting to do it this way. Again, these patches do not contain any gel and are relatively weak at 25mcg...and I cut one into quarters. Im not eating them, Im just chewing on one quarter. Dont feel anything yet.

I chewed on one quarter of the 25mcg patch until all the "flavor" was gone. Its been a little more than an hour and so far I feel just a slight opiate high. About the same as if I were to take 60mg of morphine.

Morphine sulfate...I dont know if that makes a difference or not but 60mg of MS doesn't do much to me at all. I have a high tolerance I guess. Hydrocodone fucks me up more than morphine though.

i was offered a few patches awhile back too, but a junkie friend told me to keep clear. he was a huge junkie and he even stayed away.

yeah, fuck that mess. im glad i never got into opiates. i tried a 30mg roxy once and got sick as fuck. ill stick to my 30-40mgs of hyrdocodone every once and awhile.

I wasn't impressed at all. Maybe a quarter of a 25mcg patch isnt enough for my tolerance, but I'd rather have a couple hydro 10's any day.

I appreciate everyone looking out for me but I know my body. Ive never been addicted to anything in my life, not even cigarettes and I know when addiction is drawing near and when its time to stop. I came close on hydros once and shut it down for over a year.

I used to be like that big time in high school but I found out I'm just a real lightweight. 10mg hydrocodone makes me sick as all fuck. 5mg (aka what's in one pill) gets me high. It's nice for the rare occasions when I have them, I get to enjoy them.

For whatever reason tussionex doesn't make me sick until I go real hard with it. Liquid fucking gold. If pills made me the same high that shit gets me I'd probably be blowing every check on them. Maybe it's because it's extended release? Idk but that's the only one I get solid opiate euphoria from like everyone describes. I can drink like 30mg of that and not get sick.

yeah for sure.  Dont use it.  Or die.  Or worse live with an opiate addiction and burn a bunch of bridges while contracting hep C.  Don't say we didn't tell you so.  Heard the same spiel about smart opiate usage from literally dozens of different people, and every one of them went full fledge junkie. 

Fentanyl is double dangerous because it's powerful like lsd dosage wise.  You will most likely not die from this patch, but then again you might.  I have cleaned up a really good friend's dead body.  His throat was filled with fucking puke, his face was blue and swollen, and the patch was hanging out of the side of his mouth soon.  He was one of the most brilliant people i've ever met.  Your intelligence wont save you.  You will turn in to a junkie.  All opiate users do in the end.  Just remember when you are down and out and need a fix, and have already pushed away everyone you loved...big bear tried.

I've used and abused more than my share of 'hard' drugs and never reached junkie status, or ruined any relationships. Opiates are not inherently evil, however, people are inherently stupid. I guess the scare tactic worked on you.

I have a great life with tons of great friends, a pretty high paying job, a growhouse, and an amazing girlfriend I'll most likely be with for the majority of my life.  On top of that, I spend most every weekend in the mountains, I constantly travel to see the music I like, I am in a mediocre bar band,  I have never been arrested, and I am a project manager at my shop at 25 years old.

I don't think they are inherently evil, but I think when it comes to recreational use of them they pretty much are.  Scare tactics didn't work on me, but having over a dozen friends die did.  People can do what they want obviously but at this point in my life, if I know a person use opiates I don't associate with them.  It's nothing personal, I just never trust someone who's got a habit like that.  I Get flamed for the shit all the time and called an asshole, but I couldn't care less.  Junkies do junky shit no matter if they are your family or not.

Opiates are a great way to waste your precious days on planet earth.
