So I plan on flowering these plants I have in my greenhouse in late May early June. I was going to do it via light dep. I was wondering how much light I actually need to black out. Does it need to be pitch black? I will be using a very large, heavy duty reflective tarp that I plan on doubling up by folding over.
Sounds about right. I'd try to go as dark as possible. But worrying about pitch black? I prob wouldn't, remember you are just trying to recreate night so, plan accordingly. Figure plants outdoors have the light of the moon and stars. Yet that doesn't disturb their photoperiod... fold it over, cover, and off in morning. Think you got it "covered" cheers
Well I did some reading and as long as it is at 0 lumens it will do fine. And being I will have 18 mil of thickness ( 9 mil unfolded) I shouldn't have any issues. Thanks for.the replies.
