I've been looking at this pic of their Pineapple Express
They photo shopped the pic and flipped it. Here is the original
The strain has nothing to do with pineapple express. Somebody tell me I'm wrong.

Man Eater. The pic is years old. They are currently using it to sell the pineapple express seeds.
So now I'm gonna get these seeds and stabilize them and then sell the shit out of them. Maybe just find out what strains they used to make it and then re-make it better. I don't think it would be hard since they can't even use pics of their own strains.
Some breeders have the guts to let the customers put up pics of their results to sell the seeds. That way people can see that the customer gets what the breeder says they will get.

Damn that's a shady move on the part of g13 labs. I've grown out their pineapple express too and at least it was a good strain, it didn't look nothing like that picture though. The leaves did turn slightly purple at the finish too.
That picture has been on g13 labs description of pineapple express for as long as I can remember. I think the first time I found Attitude website that was one of the first strains I ever ordered, that was at least five years ago.
Is there anyway you could get in touch with g13 and tell them to stop using your picture?

well i have used g13 labs strain im really found of the blue venom strain. its a white widow and blueberry mix. the strain is very potent or alteast i think it is.. first time i tried it my face went numb from either 1 or 2 hits lol. not trying to promote them or anything just wanted to chime in with a good results of that strain oh and its a really good yielder also.
but into reference of what your saying mag yah that is really crappy and shady with using fake pics

Here is the strange part. Everything I can find says that the strain is a good strain and there are plenty of killer pics of the strain. Why in the hell they have to use a Man Eater pic that they have apparently been using for years to advertise the strain and still use to this day.
Well I got two PE clones coming on monday then I begin making their strain and selling it for 1/3 the price. They also stole it but I'm not sure from who. They have several strains like Skunk #1, White Widow that are not their strain. In the genetic make up they have only the words sativa x indica and don't name the strains that make it.
They also now sell Pineapple Express #2 which is Big Bud x Skunk x Sweet Sativa.
I think I can make a better version with a better taste using Lemon Skunk x Heavy Duty Fruity x OG Kush.

No I didn't take the pic myself. The pic was when I sold my first batch of my own strains using the stabilizing method that I like to use. I was very jacked up at the time cause everybody using my strains were getting killer results. I don't like to use my pics to advertise my seeds cause....duh....of course the breeder knows how to grow the strains out killer. I like to use the customers pics cause that is what it's all about. I like to show that the strains will do what I say they will and what better way to do it then show your results with them not mine. (of course I do put up a million pics of my grows but I don't advertise my seeds in those posts). From what I have seen there are very few breeders that have the guts to back up their work this way.
Let me ask you guys a question or two. When a breeder says the seeds are going to have a berry taste, grow tall, have a sativa high but shouldn't they tell you that you have to dig threw 100 phenos to find the plant that does that? Shouldn't they say 1 out of 20 plants does this and not make it sound like every seed does this when they are f1s?
Here is my goal. Every seed does what I say it will. When you dust any of the females from my seeds with any of the males of my seeds you get seeds exactly same as you bought. The work is easy just time consuming.
and by the way I want to make one thing very very very clear. I'm not saying in anyway that I'm a better breeder then anybody on this planet or know anymore then anybody else in anyway shape or form. I'm saying that most of them have gotten greedy and just don't want to do the work. I bust my ass to make 4 bucks a seed (feminized) when most of these guys are putting out F1s that are un-tested for up to 20 bucks a seed. Like I said before the work is easy just time consuming and they want their money right now 
anyway thats the way it looks to me.

Magash, using that picture without permission is a serious copyright infringement.
If you have rights to it & can prove it - or your customer does - you can send them a demand letter asking them to take it down or you will turn them in. I know for smaller companies, you report it to whoever hosts their site or provides their connections.
Usually the proof for an image only has to be that it was on some site before it was on G13's site - and you don't lose copyright by posting publicly.
If you're mad enough to pursue it, I can probably dig up the demand letter that writers send out when someone steals their material. It would be very close to want you want if not exactly.
As for the question about phenotype variation, some breeders will say there is some variation, this is the one you want for a keeper, or X% will be this color. Some will say there is very little phenotype variation. Some say nothing. I agree that it would be nice to know.

Nah...it's the Blueberry x Haze in the pic I made a mistake when I said Man Eater. The strain was originaly named after the girl the Gina Strain is named after but somebody already had the name. Then it was just plain Blaze but that name was taken by at least 3 companies so I just named the Gina strain after her and the Blueberry x Haze has no name to this day.
Raco is a close friends who has been testing my strains (and I test his) who lives within walking distance of me. He has know about the pic thing for a while I think not sure just how long (Ever since the Overgrow days apparently). I told him I was gonna get some Pineapple Express cuttings from the club and he mentioned the pic thing to me and my shorts have been steaming ever since.
This isn't the first time pics of my strains have been stolen. I had to start adding a watermark for a while. That is why the pics from the Shroomery have the eyeball in the middle like this one.

Magash, this is my educated guess.
Someone puts those up on their website for the breeder. If they don't provide a pic, the person goes and steals a picture, changes it as you saw, and figures no one will ever know any different.
The breeder probably doesn't care or may not even look at their website as long as the seeds are selling. Or, they could just be too lazy to change it.
In my opinion, that's all very, very wrong, but it's what happens. As a customer, I'd wonder how much they bother to test seeds before they release them if they can't even come up with an original picture.
As a writer, I see my content stolen all the time - either exactly or with such slight rewording that it's still obvious. Depending on what it is & who copied, sometimes I get bent out of shape - sometimes I don't. But, lots of people mistakenly think that if images or words are posted on the Internet, they're free game.

Raco posted the pic on Overgrow years ago and that is where they got it from. Just strange cause there are better pics of PE then the original picture. I personally don't think that they bred the strain. I noticed on strains like Skunk #1 the genetics say Sativa X Indica while most say what strains made them up. I think the strains that they don't do all have Sativa X Indica in the genetics make up.
There really isn't much I can do about the pic cause it isn't mine just the strain is. What I can do is buy 10 jars of sts and make 45 million feminized Pinapple Express seeds and sell them for 1 dollar a pack. Even better idea when I do up the next batch of seeds for everybody here I may just include free Pineapple Express seeds in every order.

well Ive had the g13 PE for the last couple years from them, the buds good but a big wtf is still called for.. 
explains why my buds look so diff than the advertised pics

Here is what I don't understand though. Now if they concerned themselves with the plant more then they would have people demanding their seeds. Now I'm not the best breeder by any means. The difference is I throw out F1s rather then sell them. I spend months getting my seeds stable and I've had a ton of people saying that doing that mush work is overkill. I've worded it like this before and yes it makes me a full asshole for wording it like this but ask anybody who has grown my seeds if they don't want more and if they think I'm doing to much work. What do you think is gonna happen when I go to the lounge and announce that the seeds are ready?
Now here is the thing that really chaps my ass. The work is so easy to do it just takes time. F1 should only be sold to people who are looking for phenos to choose from for breeding or what ever personal reason they have. Otherwise the plants should do what you say their gonna do simple as that and people shouldn't have to fish threw a bunch of females to find the one they want.
