Domes are still cool...yeah they get sticky but domeless can get stuck on male joints too.
Theyre not good for outside or by fans or air con cuz the wind can blow away your hit away...which really sucks.
Ive also seen people drop crumble onto the nail in the dome...and miss the nail haha
both are cool during their right times i guess...outdoors in the wind my dome saves the day
as for big dabs....halo dabs on the domelelss...oh shit!

they were sleeping in the livingroom which is by the back door. i dont smoke in my house with my kiddo here. I didnt want to wake the baby just to get high. but i am now stoned

Was in Garden Grove yesterday and a club was having a 4th of July sale. But any two eighths or quarter and get a free eighth. Also got a free 1/2 gram of wax and two joints.
Oh and the strains I went with are Blue Dream,Chem 91,and Alien Candy.

If you are too lazy to put your dome back on before hitting the dab... 
Also I have never had an issue with my dome getting dirty (top loader)
I don't see how it could effect dab size.
I have never seen domeless though, but it sounds inefficient.

It has nothing to do with laziness, its the hassle of putting the torch down then grabbing a glass dome and trying to quickly place it on then switch hands with the rig and dab....increased chance of something getting dropped/broken, especially for clumsy stoners
Also its so much easier for a first timer to understand and use a rig if its domeless...just make sure they don't stick the dab down the hole then it all melts and just gets pulled into the rig before its vaporized
As for it getting dirty, idk maybe you don't use it enough but all 3 rigs i have are top loading domesand they would get so covered in oil it would run down the dome and get on the joint....only way to solve that is clean it every 10 dabs and fuck that
Dab size is effected because with my domeless, the part I heat up is 10x bigger than the biggest nail I've seen that will fit under an 18mm dome, therefore it stays hotter for a longer period of time...so you can do wayy bigger dabs, gram dabs aren't even an issue for my honey hole
And inefficient? Maybe if you don't know what you're doing, I don't lose any vapor on my dabs with domeless  I have watched people lose half their dab tho from being dumb/high or not knowing how to use it (gotta start pulling before you touch the dab to the nail)
Probably really comes down to preference....I prefer not to deal with a dome but I have a friend who dropped 350$ on a worked dome for his toro last summer, just cuase he likes domes

Thanks, they are a little expensive but I can find them locally for 70-80$ usually and it will last me and my roommate 2-3 months of dabbing many times a day....a normal quartz nail costs 10-20$ for me and only lasts like 2-3 weeks and I can't dab proper sized dabs on it
The shittier quartz domeless I can get for like 35-40 bucks but they only last a month tops so I end up spending less in the long run
I used to have titanium which lasts for what seems like ever but idk I like the taste off quartz, its also easier for me to dab with the right heat on quartz, titanium I always got too hot which usually makes for a burn in the back of my throat and glass is just dangerous. I haven't hit enough ceramic nails to know how I feel about them
