Not gonna quote you and edit on my phone but spot on about the domeless havin bigger hits, it being preference, and noobs sucking it down the middle!
ive been a noob on the domeless but im starting to get the hang of it. I have a 14mm and18mm domed nail and then my infiniti domeless. I like them all so there is no best. The domeless does take getting used to but if used right you can take huge dabs with no waste.

They call them domeless...its a big nail with no dome.
the one in the picture looks like a glass domeless
also search "honey bucket" for some interesting ones

They don't last anything near what a titanium does, but I think the taste is better and the hit is cleaner IMO and burn less on my throat personally

Must cool pretty quick then. To get 2 dabs out of my nail you usually have to have the second one loaded up and ready to go beforehand.

Yeah it cools super quickly compared to titanium...you can do massive dabs on domeless only cause of size, compare 2 like sized nails tho and the quartz cools wayyyy faster. You can't really do 2 dabs back to back, you really should reheat with quartz before doing another

Yeah i hate when glass nails crack when you torch them.
Some dude in a smokeshop told me you can heat quartz red hot and then while its still red you can drop it in water and it wont crack. Anyone wanna back that claim up?

I'm not really sure what you mean about size. I can do as big a dab on my Ti as I like.

Yeah, with titanium....cause it stays hotter than quartz for longer when its the same size. But I prefer quartz so when it comes to dome vs domeless I can take much bigger dabs vs a domed quartz nail
I can back that up smokesomehash.....at the cannabis cup there was a dude with quartz nails he would torch emm and drop em into a cup of water, he said bad quality nails will break or crack but good quality quartz won't ....idk how true that part is but id assume maybe if its microcracked or something it would probably crack further maybe even break 
All the ones I saw him do it to were like brand fucking new crystal clear so that could help too
