it is. it really is. i fucking love working there. it's a job, but it doesnt really feel like one. everyone is really cool, like minded people with good taste in music lol. we just sit around choppin plants down all day, talking and listening to music. its an awesome feeling to finally get a job doing something you LOVE doing, especially after going through 5 years of felony probation in another state for growing a couple plants...
the place i'm working at just got a new warehouse grow up and running, only vegging plants in it right now. but it's a 3 story warehouse grow, and they're opening a new store on the west side of the springs. i think i have a fairly good shot at moving up to be a grower  just gotta keep busting my ass and going in 6 days a week, and once they start flowering what they're vegging now, they'll definitely need help.

i know some dispensaries pay in cash, i literally just learned this an hour ago when i picked up some clones. but the place i work for pays either with checks or direct deposit. i have yet to get my first paycheck. i have a bank of america account and a US bank, but neither one will cash a paycheck from a dispensary or do direct deposit. my manager is going to try it to see direct deposit will work (probably won't) so if it doesnt, i have to open a Chase Bank account, maybe the colorado credit union, or security service credit union... would be nice if the feds got off their asses and let banks actually work with us.
i've never heard of dispensaries paying their employees with marijuana. colorado is very regulated, i highly doubt that paying employees with marijuana would fly with the state or the Marijuana Enforcement Division. we do get deals at work and industry pricing at some dispensaries/events/stores. i could see that happening in other medical states without such tight regulations and restrictions. especially california...

Sorry by some places I meant up North in Humboldt. Not sure if they meant medical growers or "illegal" growers.
