 using ISO for making oil from kief

I've come into 29 G's of Indica kief . Can anyone tell me a good way using 99% Isopropyl alcohol ? And does vacuum purging help make a better end result? I have a medical vacuum pump and can reduce the pressure in a small plastic chamber down to 22 Hg .Thats,s Metric for those who don't know. Is this a sufficient vacuum to make the use of this pump worth the effort? I know to use a glass container inside the chamber , not on plastic ! Duh!. I will appreciate any help and info they can give , personal experience is needed! Thank's much , keep it chem free and healthy !! {info on amount of IsoA99% would help and what amount of kief would make for most economical run's? how long of a purge?}

Ive never done iso except for reclaim. Friends tell me iso extracts taste weird and ethyl alcohol is better such as everclear but i personally just use butane.
As for the vac, 22Hg isnt much...my vac pulls 29 and my friends hits 30.
if youre going to put something in the vac its better to have it lay flat and thin on something like parchment paper or a silicone pad. That way you have the most surface area being exposed so more bubbles can escape faster. Depending on your container it might make the oil pool up and make thick spots.

Thank's for the info .I have a question if that's cool. I looked at my vacuum pump and I realized that it has psi Hg and cm Hg . My pump bring's the pressure down to 22 psi Hg which is equal to 56 cm Hg. Is this clearer about the amount of vacuum? does it mean any difference about what you said was a rather weak vacuum?I appreciate the first post from you. and would this vacuum work well or better if I use quality Calibri butane? what could I use as an adhoc tube for running the butane? even if I can use something just as a one time use tube without going to a headshop or glassblower? just want to try kief extraction this time as I get kief from my dispensary in Vancouver for 80$ Canadian for 31.5 G's. I know this is more than a few question's but I have not done this before . Any help is appreciated greatly ! Many thank's for the time , Happy extraction's !
