Soil Growers: 1. Are you growing from seed or clones? Seed 2. How old are your plants? 4 months (22 days into flower) 3. How tall are your plants? 12 inches tied 4. What size containers are they planted in? 18 gallon tote 5. What is your soil mix? FFOF 6. How often do you water and what type of water do you use and how much you give per watering? As needed (weight of container) Tap water in a 55 gallon resevor refilled once a month and let sit with an air stone and 185gph pump circulating the water to remove chlorine 7. What is the pH of your water?6.7-6.9 8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio? Green planets line up 9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? no 10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights")two 600watt one mh one hps 11. How close are your lights to the plants? 18inches 12. What size is your grow space in square feet? open 10x12 room 13. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? 72-82 F 40% 14. What is the pH of the soil? run off phed at 6.4 15. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? small little holes in some leafs but no bugs have been seen. 16. How much experience do you have growing? first grow back. have logged a few grows. I found this last night when the lights came on. A hand full of the tallest tops are showing a little burning. the tips are dried and brittle dead.. They have been on a heavy feeding cycle since flowers showed so I am thinking I may have over done it. But they were also encroaching on the lights so possibly light burn. They were feed 6.8 phed clean water last night and the lights were raised another 6 inches. Thoughts? am I way off base is it something else. The nuet line has no chelated salts in it so I wouldn't think it would be lock out or anything of that nature. I am going to feed again with plain phed water and then resume normal feeding cycle enless some one says differently. Thanks for your help

You're in an 18 gallon container. To flush you need to use at least 54 gallons of water per container.

Yes sir, it took me the better part of 4 hrs to completely flush the medium. I moved the plants into an unused shower and shuttled phed water from my 55 gal resevor. Was a little bit of work. Then moved the container back under the lights. Will not be using the tote again. Takes too much water too much soil and the plants in it are growing to close together. Will be using 5 gal buckets from now on.

I use close to 35 gallon containers, and just put 2 plants in each. Depending on how you are growing, multiple plants in one container can work just fine.
Get yourself a small submersible water pump. Then you wont have to carry buckets around.

It doesn't matter what it takes to flush, to nute, to trim. Point being. Do you wants a quality product? I laugh when I see people tell me I will just scatter some seed outdoor and come back it wont be no problem. Indoor is no different, oh let me just half ass this. Sir do your thing. "Shit what the fuck happened." You tell me?!? The Growery is like a bible, any info you may seek, search the depths of the Growery, bingo. Seeing 2010 on your profile, you have been a lurker, and growing. You should have many many weeks worth of info stored into that micro brain, my friend, put it to use! If you say that you can-not diagnose what is happening perhaps this will help sir, Cheers mate!

I use the growery as a sounding board. I check with the tcs to make sure my thought process is correct. I am well aware of the benifits of the forums and how to use the search function. I could use the search function and spend hours on end trying to find a similar set of circumstances that match mine. Or I can spend 10 mins typing out a Q and generally receive and answer with in 24 hrs. It's called working smarter not harder. Aswell I get advice from some one who knows a lot more then I do. I don't pretend to know everything and I am not affraid to ask for help. Validation goes along way in building confidence in an individual's skill set and knowledge. Also if you will notice the photo you provided only depicts N abundance all others are defiencies. If you read the op I wasn't asking about deficiencies.
