after 6 weeks the mothers are looking good.
Next will be the cloning.
The fun starts.
Will be doing a 4 x 4 hydro .
That one small plant is a Magash auto, next to the temp gage.

Got the cloner filled last night.
Took me 2 1/2 hours to fill that thing.
Clones looked good this morning. Will try and get a pic up later.

The clones
I use an Easy Cloner
The process is simple. I look for clones that will have a inch to inch and a half of stem sticking out of the pad that holds them. Scrap the stem with a knife , cut the end of the stem to a 45 degree and dip in a rooting gel. I change the water every day. With in 20 days the clones are ready.

Normally I use T5's. Because of the heat I'm using T12's fluorescent for cloning.
This has been a real hot Sept here in S Texas.
As for flowering, I'll be using a 1000 watt hps.

Sad to say the water temp is killing the clones. The problem is a hot Sept and a pump that makes to much heat.
Must thank Magash for the fix.
So I'm changing the water twice a day hoping to 9 clones out of 60. This way there will be a full 2 x 2 tray.
MayBE I'll get some clones.
I look at the failures as a time of learning.

Been blessed with a cool spell. Getting to 60f at night. Water temps drop to 80f. Hope this gets me more root growth.

Went to take down the cloner and found more root growth.
So I added some FF nutes as per the feeding chart. A little less.
12 hours later one of the clones has perked up.
Will give it two more days , then see were the clones are at.
Keeping my fingers crossed.

So 6 clones may make it. That's a big maybe.
Had to use the wicks that came with the set up. Short roots.
Only Time Will Tell.

The battle with the pH continues.
Its a pain in the ass but doable.
A 7 th clone got add, its doing the best, had the longest roots.
3 clones did not make it. Leaving 4 clones with one being a maybe.
Going to repeat the 1st 3 weeks, the clones are just recovering so I think the extra veg time is needed.
