So i have this clone that started budding and I am wondering if I should let it keep growing or harvest the bud when its time?

My buddies plants are doing this, if your plant is doing the same, its going to bud, then revert, then bud, and revert continuously....and every time the plants bud again the bud looks less and less potent.
We have some of his plants going still that are budding just to see what happens, but we pulled most of them for smoke and hash.

that ground dont look to plant friendly.....
why not put it in pots of dirt ?

It just looks like that cause theres some dirt on top of the soil.
I don't use pots cause I don't like using them.
