We used to play every day before high school. I was getting back into it last year before I ruined my knee. Just started playing at work this week and remembering how much I like it.
Gonna get myself a sand bag next week.

Yup! My buddy just gave me his old one cause he left mine at the beach last month. Instead of kicking, just punch it to each other. That's also pretty fun.

We used to climb on the roof of the school and hop down with armfulls of em. The sand ones are my fav but I can't seem to find it. If I were a little more handy I'd try to make some.

we used to play.... if you drop it then the last guy to hit it gets to throw it hard as he could against your back 
I got and gave many welts, playing in high school....

We played 3 hack smack. When it gets passed to you, you get a chance to get 3 hits in a row, then on the 4th you slap it out of the air at someone in the circle. If they get hit they're out. Got real fun with the last 2.
