 Hot plates? Induction plates?

ok so our hot plate (using for BHO) that we got at walmart i finally starting to have it's last runs, so i was wondering if any out there has any suggestions where i should look next?
so this hot plate was working just fine, but now i cant get lower temperatures anymore and the temps are CONSTANTLY changing....i mean huge spikes.
whats a good hot plate y'all are using that has equal spread of heat, a large range of temp, and stays at a constant temp?
does anyone use induction plates? any tips on what to look for?
price IS NOT the issue here, so please dont focus on that. i need something good that will last at least over a year, and one that works like a boss.

double boil bro.
put pot of water on hot plate, then your bho on that...
or do what i do.... just leave it on top of your toaster oven for a few days... randomly turn it on till its hot then shut it off.... when the bho is hot mix mix mix..... keep doin this till ALL the bubble are gone.... your end product will be a hard wax texture. full melt.

sounds do able. but hows the dbl boiler work for shatter or taffy? i dont only make wax

just use the boiling water to heat the bho enough to aid in degassing it. then if ur gonna make shatter you will use a pressure chamber till its hard
|

i may expriment and try this out sometime, but im a little disapointed that not one person could help suggest something. like i said ill try it out, but i have a technique down...just want a suggestion for a better hot plate or learn something about an induction plate lol

oh yeah ive been neck deep in reviews, theres so many. i appreciate you trying to help. i guess i didnt realize not too many people were working with BHO.
i bought the most expensive one at walmart, because it had the biggest temp range and the least returns (i asked). but what im guessing is that those who bought what i bought are using it maybe a couple days a year...or maybe a couple times a month because i was using it about 3 times a week and the fucker didnt last longer than 5 months.
the search continues, ill keep you guys posted. right now ive been looking at these two

i just wish someone knew what would work better. induction seems like it would be the most accurate and most stable...but ive been reading that some are so good that you can place your finger an inch away from the heat and its cool to the touch. does that mean that it wont even out the heat? does not compute!
