Sure as hell can't. Which is such bullshit, because if you were in chronic pain and prescribed vicodin, that would be just fine.

Nope it's not. Since it's illegal federally the penal system doesn't recognize it's legitimacy while on probation and the such.

I think you still do have ground to stand on though if you were to test dirty. You probably won't get violated by the judge.
When I was on probation I showed them my recommendation and they said that I didn't have a "real" one because a California symbol was lacking on my card. I really don't think they knew what they were talking about... because I've had a few different style cards its really up to the place that makes the card how they design it. It's funny though because right when that card expired they popped me with a random test for the first time. I anticipated that though and abstained the month prior... thank god.
If you show them your paperwork and card they will make copies of them and keep them in your file(at least that's what happened in my case). I would definitely ask them about it

I know here in Maine ehile I was on bail and probation. My lawyer told me I could smoke still since I had my medical recomendation. Was tested for drugs once and only mj showed up on test. They never said a word and said I was all set!
Id guess it depemds on the state your in and the judge.

it depends on your state law. ask your lawyer first. sometimes its up the probation officer and you just have to ask.

I know in cali if you had your card prior to getting popped then you are allowed to come up postive for cannabis on a drug test.
