ive only made bho with trim or shake. i usually get around 2 grams per oz. With GOOD bud you can expect maybe 3-5 grams a oz.
so a qp of bud prob should give a 15-20 grams (maybe more). that should be good for a month (or 2?).
Make sure you slowley heat and mix till u get ALL the butane out.... it shouldnt bubble at all if it butane free
Are they ingesting it (like rick simpson) ? or smoking it?

ingesting definitely, no point smoking it there would be very little medical benefit from it. having a word with my friend i think i can gather about 4 oz of fresh trim so fingers crossed i can make at least 5grams

i dry my trim then freeze it before the extraction. Never tried wet material .

lol i need medicine not just a way to get high *shakes head* stoners these days smoking is a load of crap get a vaporizer and save your lungs all the damage from hot smoke

I feel like a better return would be to make normal edibles out of it. Use that 4 oz of trim to make coconut oil, and use that to make edibles. Or even just capsules. It seems to me that it just wouldn't be worth the effort to go the BHO route.

im going to use isopropyl alcohol as a solvent to get a full spectrum extract its decided and hopefully get some nice buds in the near future

iso and butane both make oils.... but golden oil is way better then black iso oil.
Hard to take ALLLL the iso out of final product. and iso is toxic as shit.... not something someone with cancer wants to be taking in for too long. If u do make iso oil.... make sure to heat and mix it REAL GOOD (i spent over a week purging my last iso batch) .... heat, mix, cool... repeat a dozen times.... using oil slick pads helps too. put it on the pad and leave it on a toaster oven. you Might as well make it as safe as possible
Personally id Id grind em up and put em in capsules or make coconut oil cookies like hawk suggested ....

iso has a full spectrum extract butane only extracts the thc i make alot of extracts and iso isnt that hard to get out of the final product at all it simply evaporates off cos its alcohol

If you are going to do an iso extraction, make sure you get a 99% iso.
