Life of Pi, 6.5/10 .
I thought it could've stuck a little closer to the book. It also had a pretty weird framing device with sort of bizarre narration. Cool cgi animals though.

Ive tried to watch that Pi movie twice now....
Once on mush , but i turned it off after ten mins. And another time stoned. I just cant get into it. its filmed weird. Lotsa ppl have said it good, so maybe ill read the book instead.

World's Greatest Dad 8/10 in the dark comedy/drama genre
Seriously a good movie. I didn't really know what to expect, but it certainly wasn't what I watched. Bobcat Goldthwait wrote and directed it. Darko production company. Just a real solid film, highly recommended.

What doesnt kill you (net flix) 2008
id give this a 9/10
Its a action packed Crime/mobster movie (my favs kind of movies). Its About a thug who has to choose between robbing a armorerd Car, or keeping a promis to his son. Its a True story which makes it even better.
Defiantly worth checking out if your into crime movies....

Once upon a time in America
If you like mobster films then you'll love this. It is a very long movie but I really enjoyed it.
De niro was also real good in this film.

just watched this movie about a hood nigga who robs some colleage kids for their video camera and video tapes life in the hood. basically he jacks dealers and sell crack and shit. Pretty fuckin intense.
Some sorces say its 100% real others say its semi fake... either way its a wild fuckin movie. Its on net flix "popular" right now....

One of the best movies I've ever seen...
Classic movie, I've seen it well over 10 times, it's one of my favories.
"The film stars Jean Reno as the titular mob hitman; Gary Oldman as corrupt DEA agent Norman Stansfield; a young Natalie Portman, in her feature film debut, as Mathilda, a 12-year-old girl who is taken in by the hitman after her family is murdered; and Danny Aiello as Tony, the mobster who gives the hitman his assignments."

The Possession
Quality story, so-so execution. It had decent enough acting, and kept on pretty steady with entertainment...but the monster looked like Golom from LOTR when they finally showed it, and I laughed. Shit like that is better left up to the imagination most of the time. It kinda fucked up the movie, but it was fun and I'd watch it again for sure.

Saw Anchorman 2 in theatres, was kind of disappointed. I had some obnoxious people sitting behind me though, so my rating probably wouldn't be fair because they ruined the whole experience. These girls were literally talking and burping throughout the whole movie.
I gotta say, movies seem to be going downhill. There is nothing that comes out anymore that deserves a 10.

I straight up tell people to shut the fuck up in theaters. I have no patience for that. Me and my boys went to see Paranormal Activity 2 (ugh) and some punk ass kids were talking the WHOLE movie. About half way through, I just said out loud "hey- shut the fuck up". The little bastard stands up and goes "who said that?" and my crew of like 5 dudes at least 6 foot tall and XXL size stands up  you could hear a pin drop the rest of that movie.

Same here. I have little patience like Ras. I have grabbed a 16 year old guys foot as he was jumping over seats right next to me and my wife and he tripped and went flying face first into a theater seat. Everyone laughed at him. What a douche.

on a side note...
i saw We Are The Millers last night. it actually wasnt bad at all. had quite a few lol moments and the story was fun to follow along with. id rate it a 7/10 for a bullshit comedy.

Also - just watched The Fruit Hunters on netflix. Ehhhh, it wasn't great...at all. I figured it was going to be introducing me to all kinds of exotic fruits and telling me about the conditions they grow in, and what they taste like and stuff. It did a bit of that, but it had some lame ass side story about Lonestar from Spaceballs trying to grow a community garden in Hollywood or some shit.

I'm no one to judge but you were disappointed because it wasn't about fruit and their growing conditions? Its usually the other way around.
I saw the latest superman last night. It was okay... The fighting scenes were fucking gay. Over powered pushing... They could have done so much more. Louis was fucking hot though. I would wreck that slender body and tight little ass.

i watched DON JON the other day. it was pretty good. a bit weird at first, but it has a dif story line and makes a lot of good points.

I suggest everyone give this movie a chance. It wasn't cheesy like all the scary movie movies and it had just enough serious parts to keep you interested. One part had me laughing so hard I couldn't make the laughing noise. Had my eyes teared up from laughing too.

I watched that on Netflix awhile ago. I had a WTF feeling the entire time. Definitely kept my attention, it was just......fuck man, weird.lol.
I have been hitting up youtube and watching Penn and Teller's Bullshit for the past week. I love this show. Its awesome how Penn just rips a new asshole in a lot of the fucking morons in the world. The episode about Mother Teresa and Ghandi blew my mind.

meh..... its pg13 so they really try and keep it tame compared to the original. start and the end were meh.... the middle when he becomes robocop was kinda neat .

Just one part threw me. She takes off her helmet. Everything in the space station is floating around. Her hair is hanging down. Then a few scenes later it's floating around normal. I hate that crap otherwise a good movie.

While this movie is based upon an interesting expendable human clones premise, I was disappointed.
A lot of the storyline didn't add up, and the ending was really poor.
Its also depressing as fuck. Which I wouldn't have minded so much if it weren't for all the other shortcomings.

ive been meaning to watch that, but there doesnt seem to be any good cams.
the last samurai was the shit! i actually saw that while rolling pretty hard...
i had some strong clean pressies years ago and me and a friend were suppose to eat one and hit up this show, but he bailed on me to be with his chick and i didnt have a ride. thing is, i ate mine right before he bailed out thinking we would be at the show in the next 20 minutes...
after he told me he asked me to save them and i just laughed and let him go. i ate the second one not even a minute later.
i really didnt have shit to do though and my parents were home so i just hung out in the room and watched movies. the last samurai was on when i peaked.
it was a pretty chill night though. i rolled around in my bed, watched a few movies, and talked my chick into coming over later.

Awesome movie. Even if you are not a racing fan, and I am, this is a great watch.
[Mostly] True story (everything I read checked out with main plot points) about an intense rivalry between two F1 drivers in the mid-70s that grew into a deep mutual respect.

Pretty dark and damn funny, a few serious moments that will give you teh feels (I don't like teh feels, which is why I gave this an 8.), definitely a must-watch for fans of dark humor.
I could explain the plot but there's really no wayto do so without giving away a few spoilers, I'd suggest just pulling it up on netflix and watching without reading any review or description.
In short: Shithead outcast son hates dad, dad finds son dead of autoerotic asphyxia, forges diary and suicide note and gets famous.

As far as Gravity goes, I liked that movie just because I was imagining myself in that situation and tripping the fuck out. Yes, Sandra Bullock is annoying, and so is the little storyline they add to the situation, but like I said, just the thought of floating around in space helpless is fucking intense and I enjoyed it. But yea, no fucking way it gets "movie of the year", movies usually only get called that because of their cast. Put a bunch of no-names in Gravity and I'm sure nobody would even watch it.
