Back-cross

Just got High Times January 2013 issue and they mention back crossing. Not sure what that means and was looking for an explanation.
I am new to this, but have purchased an advertisers product that produces male sacs on female plants. As all my plants are female clones I thought that I could place the pollen made from this product on a forming bud and that would produce feminized seeds. That was until I read the article "How To Grow A Cup Champion". Now I'm not sure what I need to do to preserve my strains. Any help please.

Nah, your on the money. Take cuttings off of the same plant and produce male flowers on one of them and pollinate the others with it. When your making feminized seeds with just the certain strains you want to preserve you don't need to worry about the back crossing stuff.

Or get stable non-hermie genetics, regular seeds no feminized select a male and use it to make a hybrid instead of poluting the gene pool further with selfed seeds.
