riding on 12 grams of commercial Bali. Feels great, I'm taking a break from the red veins but for now I'm sticking to these two strains.

holy fuck 12g 
my first dose was 5g and i nodded so hard for like 6hrs
now i dose 3g for stimmy, chillish effects....then add another 4g on top as a redose to nod at night

Regardless of tolerance, anything beyond 8g or so and I feel more dysphoric than anything...dizzy, spins, nausea, headache, shaky hands, hot & cold sweats, etc etc.
1.5g to 3g a couple times a day treats me just fine, 4g to 6g is about as much as I'll ever need to take at a time.
I haven't taken any in weeks now, it's alright though.

yeah 6gs will have me nodding SO HARD for like 6-8 hours
i dosed 2g about 3 hrs ago, i get stimmed at first for about 1 to 1.5hr then i start the nods till it wears off.....finally the nods are wearin off
i ordered 1/2 kilo of white vein borneo, and 1/2 kilo green vein for some variety....also my capsuling machine gets here tomorrow with my capsules  that will make dosing so much easier
considering dosing another 2g of krat

Tolerance builds up, out of no where you're putting 10 grams of powder into your mouth to toss and wash.
It's easy to abuse this plant as its effects are lovely but it ain't that bad. I'd rather abuse the shit out of kratom than abuse the shit out of a needle.

yeah for sure.....i SHOULD be going 100% sober cause probation but etizolam, kratom, CBD and CBN are keeping me somewhat sane

Even after a month or two of daily use, tolerance isn't all that much of an issue for me. So as long as I keep my intake consistent and in moderation, the tolerance aspect also stays consistent & moderated and doesn't increase.
For me, there is a noticeable tolerance after a week or so of using the leaf every day but it's relatively subtle and not enough to make me start taking more leaf than I did the day before. If I start taking more each day at that point because of that little bit of tolerance, the tolerance will indeed build & increase....and then I'll have to take more the next day, then tolerance will increase even more, and then more will need to be taken, and so on as the cycle continues...
...but if I keep using more or less the same amount every day then the tolerance "balances out" and will not build up, and I can get away with using around 4g to 6g every day, treating me just fine. Occasionally taking a pinch of extract on top of my leaf when ever I want a bit "more".

Man, i want to make my own extract, i just don't know what to use yet. I have 2 ounces of GV malay right
now, and over a pound of RV borneo. Will have more bulk probably in a month of two. And some WV indo
in a week or so if all goes well.
I have a problem with tolerance if i'm not watching my doses, or am dosing too often.
