Shadow Play Amidst a Solar Eclipse

I remember visiting Baja California in the early 90's for the last total solar eclipse. My pops and I took one of those old 4x4 Wrangler's with a group of ten or fifteen other journeymen and women, all jocked up with CB radios and full of fresh crab legs from a shack on a nearby stretch of beach along the southern tip of Baja California Sur. We were on the sand, waves gently washing ashore as the world around us turned to dusk, as if someone had lowered a big dimmer switch.
Today's eclipse was not quite as spectacular for me, though while I was in the backyard spending some time with the cosmos, I remembered that I could punch holes in a piece of paper to project the shadow of the sun from this evening's eclipse, seeing as I didn't have any proper eye wear to view it for myself. Here's what happened...
I like the picture of the sun itself because you can see the eclipse in the lens flare directly above the sun.
Anyone else snag any pic's? Stories to share?
