overfed.
you feed them to much.

FF soil dont need that much help from nutes. just saying,

with no experience, ya should just stick with the soil in the bag. add nothing. later after you know what plants do and dont do. you can experiment with nutes. never nuke all your plants. til you know what kinda response they will have to the growing medium as is.

If that were the case I wouldn't use nutes, which it's not.  If I didn't add nutrients I wouldn't get near the yield I want.  Early on in the first stages of veg and flowering they don't need much, but through the whole process they definitely do.

Not horrible advice.  But I would say just start low, and NEVER go by they're feeding schedule.  Everyone I see usually runs way too hot.

OP, to fix this problem you are going to want to flush with a pH balanced very low nutrient solution.  So about 1-2 mls per gallon of bloom.  Also remember that when you flush you want to give 4:1 water to soil.

I cant trust those feeding scheduled. every time I do., I get a major burn. Best Ive learn to just go 1/2 strength, and I haven't had problems since.

plant yields are kinda meaningless to me, if I lived around other growers, it would. But since there is really nothing to compare it to. I just let em grow.

Sledge Hammer will do just fine.  Do 4 gallons of water with that added, per gallon of soil.  Then add 1 more gallon of water with half strength nutes at the end.

:lolsy:

Why would you not want to get the most out of the electricity, time, and effort you put into your plants?  That's just a silly statement.

If by "e-penis size" you mean efficiency then yes.

just saying, some people are just stubborn and refuse to acknowledge certain things. (guilty of doing it myself)

I have no problem with him being happy with what he's getting.  But I'm here to try and push people to get more out of what they do.

not my setup. it really is just a dude i know.i havent grown in years and when i did it was hydo. he said the masive flush helped they looked better over night. he was also wondering what amount of nutes to go with as the feeding schedule doesnt continue and the plants are nowhere near done.

Sounds like maybe he should make an account.
