Has any one ever found/noticed Papaver Somniferum's (Opium Poppy) growing around your town, or any where for that matter?

i threw about 2 handfuls of poppy seeds into the grass right next to the dumpster at my old apartment complex. i wonder if they've started to grow yet...
if only the spot wasn't over 2000 miles away. arrrgg

I noticed a patch of them not too far from my house, in this old fellow's garden.
They can be seen from the road, the pods on those fuckers are already pretty big.

Opium producing poppies are illegal in the US, no matter what. I don't know where you got your misinformation from, but you need to check that source because they're wrong. You can even get in trouble for buying dried opium poppy heads.

It seems for the US, you can readily buy the seeds and plants, but they enforce the law if you're using the plant for dr00g production.
