There are some mean ass birds around here that will dive bomb you if you get too close to their nest.
I used to have a cat that got one of his eyes fucked up from a bird, he was blinded in that one eye from the attack.

i agree, he learned his lesson, too.
i was reading some thing about how house cats are really fucking up local bird populations by taking out entire nests. the birds are adapting though, by pecking out eyes, haha.
