 So I took a ride up to the local head shop today...

for their 15th anniversary sale.
I ended up buying a Vapor Genie Pipe vaporizer that is used with a lighter.
Paid about $50 and so far I am happy with it.
This is what it looks like for those that haven't heard of it.
It of course isn't as efficient as my EQ but it definitely works if used correctly and the build quality seems good.

well there is a ceramic?? stone in between the herb and the fire. so really its heating that stone that takes long. butane <jet flame< lighters work best.

Yes I know there is a little stone between or what ever it is to not create smoke, but I heard that heating it with a lighter is really really slow, and if there is a bit of wind, it will take forever to be even able to take the first puff, but I saw that on internet, so it might be false

I'm the same with phones, never with my glass. im usually sitting down while im getting high; i dont know about weird white folk

I was gonna wait till I used it a few more times before I really gave any more info/opinions because I only used it twice so far...
But you basically unscrew the big bowl and put the herb underneath inside the chamber, screw it back on and just use it like a normal bowl but not let the flame actually go into the bowl too much... Dry toke it just enough to heat the ceramic inside (but not touch the flame to it) which does take a few seconds but once it's hot you could take the lighter away and rip it.
You control the temp by how long you keep the lighter there and how slow/fast you inhale...
Hempwick seems to be ideal for this since it wont get super hot like a lighter... (and it's better for your health)
Shake/ repeat/ crumble/ repeat...
There is a small learning curve but once you understand how it works it should be easy...
