As far as the eastern side, id say the east side of GA would work the best for me. If anyone lives in states above me and end up having to travel down through SC, id be happy to carpool :bliss:

That would be expensive as hell. Lets just stick to our regions. Now, time frames??? My best dates would be the last week of june, and july 17 ~ the end of july.

I saw a sticker one time it said ass gas or grass nobody rides for free.

On that note I vote carolina beach it has beach camping you can drive on teh beach and its a great fishing spot ..

I suggest either Halloween 2011 or 4/20/2012 in an area near the center of the SE...like somewhere around northwestern Georgia or something...maybe Augusta or Marietta...there is also Red Top Mountain State Park on Lake Allatoona, which is near Marietta...which reasonably close to Atlanta if anyone is interested in flying out from the rest of the country.

There is also the Cloudland Canyon State Park near the NW tip of Georgia...just under 3 hours from Atlanta's International Airport. Looks like an absolutely beautiful place...especially in autumn as all of the leaves are changing colors. This way it would be within driving distance for a lot of peeps in the SE...while providing access to a major airport just incase peeps from the rest of the country wanna go the airborne option :shrug:

I am torn between California and Texas. But the gathering that I organize will more than likely be held in one of those 2 places. I would say I am 95% sure of that.

The dates of the Gathering will be 4/20/2012--4/22/2012

State will come down to which place I can find the best location for.

I look forward to establishing the first gathering for the website and meeting those of you who I havent already met.

Man I would make it down to ATL but I would want to stay for a week or so and fuck a hotel.  That is why camping is cool so unless someone can contain me for a while I dunno.

I could be there in 9-10 hours and would make the trek for sure.

That sounds doable. I have always wanted to check out Austin. I have heard that is one of the nicer places in all of Texas.

Is there a national park or forest there that I should look into?

The only place I have been in Texas is to my family's old property in Livingston. Right off of Lake Livingston.
