I'm continuing to read up on them, apparently they can be bad for you. But it takes a good 6 hours a day under them to reach unsafe levels of exposure. But they can aggravate people who have issues like migraines and shit.

That is more of just a test game to see how it goes, but yeah, 1000 might have been better.. but keep in mind, if it's 1000 + 50 new players wont be able to join since u only start with 1000 total.
So maybe 500 would be better.

You should still register
You can come into the tournament late, I do believe.
I think it auto-posts the blinds for you and folds to any bets until you show up
At least that's how it has always worked with other tournaments. But this being the 1st private one, I am not too sure of the settings
This is more of a test run while PositiveOutlook and I hammer out some kind of weekly tournament.. Or maybe 2 a week. And we will definitely be upping the buy-in for it in future

I dont know about real money, I lost 1300$ on fulltilt when the US govt decided to freeze all their assets. Lost all that money and never saw a dime again

yeah i was kind of disappointed that only 3 of us showed up
decided I would play really loose since me and you have never played together before
some of the other guys know my playing style a bit more from having played more hands. I dont usually play like that at all.

It's all good, that is why it was a test run.
We will definitely push it back an hour next time. 10pm EST, and we need to increase buy-in to 500.
Positive and I discussed doing 1 small buy-in and 1 large buy-in per week.. Like do a 1,000-2,000 buy-in one where there is actually a good size pool
