Seven foot mom on her way outside. Want to assist?
    #551610 - 04/28/11 12:21 PM (12 years, 10 months ago)

I have what looks to be a 6.5 - 7ftgrape ape mother plant. I won it in a 420 raffle from a dispensary. It is obviously a mother, as the branches are almost stripped bare. Otherwise it seems to be a healthy plant and was planning on taking it outdoors to hopefully get a few pounds form it!

I got me a 32 gallon trash bin, a bale of promix and perlite, some castings and a whole lot of love to give this plant.

I play on deep transplant, cutting the bottom branches off to give it some better structure and strength.

I'll post a pic when I find the cord to the camera. For now, any tips?

Wow nice!
Grape Ape is the last strain I worked with and they are great. But I wish I knew what strains Grape Ape are made from so I know what the seeds can also be.

I transplanted her into the soil mix and into the garbage can. We have a little whle longer of frost so I am keeping him under two cool T8 bulbs until it goes outside.

goddam that might be one of the ugliest cannabis plants I've ever seen. Did you berate the dispensary owner for growing that poor thing so shitty and then giving it away like it's some sort of prize? They should be embarrassed about letting anyone see that.

I hope you grow it into a massive dank motherfucker and you can take pictures back into that dispensary and rub their noses in it.

I like your idea of a deep transplant. Dig like a 6 foot hole and bury the bottom 2 or so feet of that biznatch. Plus the 4 feet of good soil under it and she should be killer by the time she adjusts.

you're going to need a lot more space than a 32 gal trashcan. I was with a partner when he brought out a 5 foot mother around this time of year and put it in a trash can.... get more soil space!

agreed. I'm talking a hole in the ground like 5x5 feet and 6 feet deep. It's gonna take a fuck pile of soil, but it's going to yield a fuck pile of weed

Well, the 32 gal will work for now. It needed to be in xsomething bigger than the 5gal of soil they had the poor thing in. When season comes, I can get a few friends together and just dig a huge hole wherever I am living. Unfortunately, we're also moving soon so we are finding a suitable home. I can't plant in ground in any case. lol

So what would you call a "truckload"? Hehe.

Also, I'm taking copious amounts of clones to pay forward the awesome.

thin the fuck out of her before flowering!!!

youll end up with a nasty mess of individual calyxes and single leaflets by the time that hedge row begins to flower

maybe even tie over all of her arms

like a huge octopus out there
