I consider myself a novice when it comes to making hash oil,it's the second year for me. Have any in this forum use propane gas to make oil?

I guess it works but tastes like garbage. I would worry about additional impurities present of course.

Thanks for the for the info.I was wondering it propane would work. Here propane is cheaper to use but there is that component used to make the gas smell when leaking and not being burnt.

i would say iso oil is cheaper and better then this method...go to a farm supplies store and you can get iso 99.9%alcohol at 10bux a gallon

Made it with alcohol and it turned out very good. Personally I do not buy it. I make it myself, moonshine, been distillin for years, built my own still and produce 94% from what ever I can get to ferment in a large plastic 50 gal barrel. Each run of my still give 4 liters of 94%. Want to try BHO but was wondering if propane would do, it is cheaper than butane.

yea i would imagine it would, but like psuper said there would be alot of impurities, for what its worth i would just get the butane, but if you want too experiment hell let us know how it went, maybe ill try too  if theres success ofcourse... .
but i dont think propane as the same freezing properties as butane...so i unno if it would work might have too conjure something up too be successfull

More than than likely I will try it later this spring just for shits and giggles. In the mean time going to some more research on it. Got to do a lot of reading in the forums. Just as I did when learning how to distill shine. Thanks for input and I'll let every one know the results
