I'm terrified of bugs. Like, I hear a bug flying around, and I honestly get paralysed with fear. I know its lame and I'm a wuss, but it doesn't change my fear.
So, I'm chilling in my man cave room, and I hear a horrible buzzing from in the grow room. I know theres a bug, and from the sounds of it, its about the size of a small compact car. Now, I'll be honest here and say I'm too afraid to even go into the grow room at this point.
Is there anything I can (passively) do to catch this bug? Maybe slip my hand in there quick and set a glass of water in there for it to drown in?

Ok, now if it's wasp or some kind large bee type of thing I've done this. Take a 2 liter bottle and put a small piece of meat (I used bacon) or sugar water (soda works well) and have it hanging from the top so it is suspended in the middle of the 2 liter bottle. In the sides of the bottle or near the top make a few holes big enough for a bug to fly into. Wasp or bee like bug goes into hole and trapped.
Something like this

keeping it simple. also, you better hope you never get a spider mite problem. those mixed with a room full of ladybugs would rub you the wrong way i'd guess. good luck!

 Nooo, I love lady bugs. Not so much when they're trying to fly up my nose though.
I just hate big bugs that move fast and are loud.
I haven't heard it again today. Maybe I was just really stoned. Its lights out in there now. Seems like it would be coming out to my other room where there are lights (theres a crack under the door where it could escape).

I was thinking that. I was playing Borderlands real loud on my TV and heard a buzzing and freaked out. Didn't really pause it in time to figure out where it was even coming from. I just assumed.
I had a buddy peek in there, he didn't see anything but bugs are shifty motherfuckers and you can't trust 'em.

umm during warm months we may eat up to 7 bugs a year in our sleep. or so i have heard.

For some follow up, I just heard it again but this time instead of being scared I went into murder mode and went in there with a baseball bat ready to battle a huge bee with a switchblade.
Turns out, it actually WAS a ladybug that must have kamakazied itself into the HPS and got retarded from hitting it. It was laying on the mylar buzzing its crippled brains out, and the wings hitting the mylar made it amplify and sound like it was 100x bigger.
