lst scrog style would be the words i was looking for back there ,yes sir, when you start your first tent keep track of the costs and multiply that by 10,for 10000 watts that is ,and that should give an idea of the total cost of the mother ship,but remember what magash said about the cost of the wiring ,dont for get to add that in the cost as well,you could pay for that with your second harvest !

Are you planning on just selling to random people or..? I don't know how medical states work, idk if you can sell the bud to dispenseries or not. But if your selling to just random people sounds like a risky way to make a living.

@SoD: I've actually been selling about a pound a week to medical patients I know (there's four or five I work with)... now, I don't think THEY all only distribute to medical patients, but that's not my problem. I got my ass as covered as it can be, legally.
Most of the dispensaries I've talked to are really picky, and will only take product that's T.o.T.L... once I'm at the level they'll accept my work, I'll just do that, since it's easier, even if I wouldn't make quite as much... my wife and I talk about opening our own dispensary, but that's not in the immediate future, that's for sure..
@dmtcorey: I figured that's what you meant. I'm assuming that with the large amount of veg time involved, I would need to use a combination of lst and scrog. Possibly a few HST methods as well, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it... lol

I've been dealing with dispensaries for going on 7 years up and down the state. Now I have a bunch that will take my smoke as soon as they see me. Getting to the point that they know ya well is the hardest part. Now when I walk in it doesn't matter what I have. Seeds, clones, hash, bud I know that I have a sale as soon as I walk in.

you will need to get an electrician in there. switch circuits to 240, for ten lights maybe a 60 amp circuit. set up the physical room, fans, lights, growing medium, seeds/ cuttings, trays, sprays, etc. if you want to make a legit living out of it, youre going to have to set up a mutual benefits corporation, llc, etc and pay taxes on your sales, have a lawyer, blah blah blah. certainly not impossible, but start off small. good luck

Well, I've been applying myself in the world of Mycology for about 9 years now (that's when I joined the Shroomery). The obvious route was for me to learn how to grow plants.
Have my own flowhood, autoclave, and lab materials. I'm actually looking to take on a PTC project to start storing some of the genetics I've gathered over the past few months.

Alright cool man, I didnt know how it worked. If I could do it I would in a second! But im still really new to growin, just finished my first grow, one bud was 50g wet, not bad for a rook

For sure! I haven't been able to do my own yet, but I've gotten to help other people with theirs. I had been selling for a long time, till I got caught up four or five years ago. But since then, most of my old reliable custies have gotten their cards, and now I just sell legally to them..

oh yeah forgot to say - at least in california, there are different tiers as far as electrical pricing goes. it differs from neighborhood to neighborhood. if you use the same or less electricity than your neighbors = cheap electricity. now if your running 8+ lights, well, shit gets expensive
