Hi everyone, Just joined your community
Yeah so my question is about the Dual Spectrum bulbs, Apparently they're useful on both stages vegi and flowering, I'm a complete noob on all of this, so wanted to get some advice before I threw money at it.

Your better off getting one bulb of each. Dual spectrum bulbs are ok at doing both but not great at it. Better off getting a bulb that is made for each of the two stages of growth to get the max out of your plants.

You're referring to the bulbs with both a 400w and 600w in the same tube?
Never heard anyone claim they were fantastic people usually seem to run into compatibility problems with those more than any other bulb. Digitalhippy on ICMAG who tries out basically anything he can get his hands on went through a hole bunch of those bulbs convinced they were beneficial over running regular 600ws or 1000ws only to lose out on a lot of money and make several trips to the local hydro store.

I think he's referring to dual spectrum bulbs, as in a MH and HPS bulb in one. I've seen someone post a thread about one awhile back. I'll try and find it.
