During one of the early seasons of the show there was a guy on there from around these parts that was known for his cocaine/crack addiction.
In short, yes they do a lot more drugs than the TV cameras show.

in parts of central texas an 1/8th oz of good is anywhere from eighty to a hundred and fifty dollars.
i went for the $180 1/4s when i could.

Well, if I wanted it without trying at all (aka - driving down the road about a quarter mile) I could get an 8 ball for ~$230. He (used to) have the best coke I ever tried...but he was in jail for like 3 years and I haven't done coke since he got locked up. Hes been out for a bit, and I know hes back in the game but I haven't chilled with him 
I'm sure I could find it cheaper if I wanted to go bother people at the casino.

 Like I said, it would just be effortless for me to get. If I feel like getting coke, its usually a really drunk decision and its hella convenient to just pick it up right then.
If I party with him I get it free anyway

The cheapest I've seen 3.5 go for was about 120. But that was garbage.
Average is probably closer to $140-$200.
If you're getting a ball on the street level, the price will often be in line with the quality. Actually, I'd even say that's true for middle management. I knew a guy who would offer raw and cut at different prices.
Anyway, yeah, coke is kind of a dirty, shitty drug.
Only good if it's free or you're rich.
It is a nice social lubricant sometimes, in the right company, in MODERATION. But...

I paid from 100-150 depending on who and where I got it from. Bought most of my coke from philly, so a good portion of the time it was pretty clean. Even when it was stepped on a bit the cuts were at least decent. All the coke I've seen in my area is either lidocaine + Meth or some really shitty coke + meth. Wouldn't buy any down here if you paid me.
