so i bought a few grams from a buddy of mine the other day. and the weed looks like it was picked from the garden of eden. beautiful looking buds.... but it does not get me high at all... it actually gives me a bit of a head ache and makes me tired. ill post a pic of it in a few hours when i get home. does anyone know what this means? was it not dried out right or cured right? any growers have problems with bunk nugs???

Only had one experience with this happening and it was dried to fast. Not sure if this is what happened to you, but I'm sure it was something to do with drying and/or curing

Have had it happen to me a few times when I bought bags. Bud looked, smelled, tasted, great but my god smoke a whole 1/8 and barely caught a buzz.
I'd say it has more to do with bud maturity then anything else, drying to quick or not curing would tend to produce more harsh, grassy tasting, smoke then anything else.

Your right it was grassy taste and smell, looked good. Didnt do anything tho. So probably wasnt drying/curing problem.

lol what would autoflower buds have to do with it? maybe whoever grew it was a dumbass and dried it in the oven. that would have ruined the thc and made it dry too quick, giving it that grassy taste. idiots. or, it was catnip.

Well it can be a shit strain. Potency will largly depend on the strain, growth parameters nad nutrients only slightly effect this. So if this was some random ditch weed grown indoors, it will get crystally and look good but it will have ahardly any THC count (why a grower would be growing something shitty like that is beyond me). Another more likley reason would be that they are way over ripe thus losing the cerebral high. I couldn't see curing having a negative effect on potency, only smokeability and flavour....perhaps like the above posts states they oven dried it.

no im not a fucking moron it was weed for sure. and i never said anything about a grass taste. it just smelled like shit and it wasnt dry as hell either it still had some stickiness to it. but it was almost like they shook all the thc off of it or something. the guy i got it from said the kid had it sitting in a jar for a little bit so i could have just gotte old

Well autoflowers dont always get you high or barely. I have come across some great looking autoflowers that only give you a headache. I grew one because I was stubborn and it looked super! Tasted super shitty and did a super job of giving you a headache. Or maybe your smokin broccoli!
