Midnight Bacon and Mushroom Omelette * 1

What you'll need:
  • 3 Eggs
  • Bacon
  • Mushrooms
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Butter
  • Avocado (optional)
  • Sriracha (optional)

     

      Firstly, let's fry up some bacon!

     

      Once your bacon is done, set aside to cool until it's cool enough to crumble.



      Next up, sauté mushrooms, onions, and garlic until they are to the consistency of your liking:

     



      Whisk eggs, salt, and pepper together. Add a decent amount of butter in a separate pan, set to
      medium heat and add your whisked eggs to the pan. Let cook until ready and add your bacon,
      mushrooms, and cheese:
     
     


      Lastly, flip closed your omelette and let sit on low heat for a couple of minutes until the cheese gets
      nice and melty and omelette is a nice golden brown:

     





      Finally, it's ready! Top with avocado and sriracha.
      Eat Up!

you could, i just find it easier to cook it and then crumble it. i find it easier to cook when not cut into tiny pieces. plus crumbling takes mere seconds.

True, when I add bacon to my omelette's I dice it/slice it and then fry it, sometimes I throw some onion in :drooling:

it's a two person omelette. i split it with my mom, but she didn't want a whole lot so i took the bigger half. i could eat a whole one though, it's only a 3 egg omelette.

Made one of these this morning with a leftover burger off the green egg and it was really fucking good. :yesnod:

I put just a little extra virgin olive oil,butter,salt in a pan with some garlic,shrooms and onions sauteeaed(spelling on that someone?)

Put a bunch of cheddar on one side and a mexican mix on the other.

Put a crumbled up burger or two on one side and onion mix on the other.

It was good..I wanted to put ketchup on it.

i've never had siracha, i look for it everywhere and just can not find it. So just use tabasco on things.
also with my omelets i usually mix all ingredients into the egg then fry. I might try this though :smile:

dude mine was amazing, surely yours was better but I mean either way its a great recipe. The sauce that starts with a SRI or whatever its my new shit I use it with bbq sauces when I make my own, love it.
