im gettting ready to grow and simply wojuld like to know how to do this

I have not ever used stems in my hash making, but Gray Wolf, who is a skilled hash maker over on ICMag and who has conducted small "test-panels" uses alcohol to extract topicals from fan leaves and stems.
"the yield is just lower extracting stems than buds or leaf, and it has lower a THC ratio to CBDs and CBNs," he says. The point being that a lot of folks don't like the head-effects of oil/hash from just stem material. He notes that he makes a topical product from denatured alcohol and that it is good for "medical" benefits, and that many pharm customers liked it as such.
