My crop is now into it's second week of flowering and me being a first-timer, I hadn't realized they would get so fucking tall!! 3 out of 7 of them are 4" from the ceiling, in a 2.5Gal hydro bucket, ontop of a bucket, so that I get proper drainage, otherwise the buckets all fill up and doesn't go anywhere.
Is there something I can do this late, to bring them down towards the light? I have 12 going in a 5' by 4' space, the other 5 being in soil buckets and on the ground, thus not an issue
I looked into supercropping, because it seems the only reasonable way... What if I were to remove the reflector and just hang the bulb as high as I can?
Yes, unfortunately I wasn't aware as to just how large they might get with only a 400w...by then it was too late and now that they're flowering they're getting to be fucking massive
Lots of people run bare bulb vertical and that might be a good idea for you. Just suspend the bulb and arrange the plants around it. Make sure to rotate the plants often too.
