Are they male?
    #424514 - 05/27/10 06:25 AM (13 years, 9 months ago)

Hi there, first time grower. Two of my six plants are forming clusters at their tops. From everything I've read, it looks like they may be starting to show their sex, but I wanted confirmation from someone with more experience before I yank them.

The first pic shows a growth on the 4th node of one plant. The rest are the tops.

there male because you can see the pollen sacks
they are the foot ball looking things

if it was a female you would start to see white hairs

once you see the difference with your own eyes
its really had to explain

For future reference, you could have told they were males probably a week ago at least if not two.  Next time ask a little earlier so we can help you prevent your crop from getting pollinated

With words, sure, pictures however show the differences quite clearly.  After a few grows of checking pre-flowers you'll be able to sex them way before they hit the point of the plants in the pictures.

ya thats true pictures are worth a thousand words lol

plus once you get a good plant
you can reveg it 3 times
witch i do , i find the smoke gets better
but after 3 it goes down hill

so take clones
and keep your grow going for a while
with one seed and some effort time and some DIY projects
you can be growing for a very long time

thats just my experience

are you saying you take clones from a mother and then reveg it? I'm pretty sure you can do that more than 3 times dude.

but thats a mother plant
i dont think mothers get budded to begin with

a re-veg is where you bud the plant then trim it back
then put it in full light for 2 weeks and then go along like normal

He's not talking about taking clones. He is saying that he flowers a plant, then reveg's it and flowers it again and does that up to 3 times.

Ok, thats why I asked if you were talking about clones. Do you have any proof to support your theory the bud from the reveg is better? Is that just your experience?
