Hydro Growers:
1. Are you growing from seed or clones? Seed
2. How old are your plants? 4-5 Weeks
3. How tall are your plants? 20-30cm
4. What type of hydro system are you using? Hempy Buckets
5. What brand/type of nutrients are you using? Advanced Hydroponics of Holland 3 part stack. (dutch formula)
6. What is the Ph of your nutrient solution? 5.5-6.0
7. What is the PPM/EC of your tap water? 0.7, but I let the water sit out over night so that the chlorine evaporates. It brings my EC down to 0.5
8. What is the PPM/EC of your nutrient solution? 1.5 full strength
9. What is the temperature of your nutrient solution? 17-20C
10. Does your PPM/EC show a rise or fall when you do your daily PPM check? No.
11. Does your pH show a rise or fall when you do your daily check? No.
12. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? No.
13. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") 400 Watt MH ATM.
14. How close are your lights to the plants? 50-70CM depending on the location of the plant.
15. What size is your grow space in square feet? 2x2
16. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? 22C, 30-40% Humidity
17. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? Spiders
18. How much experience do you have growing? Second Grow. First hempy grow.

Here's my one and only trouble child:

Also, I noticed this on one of the plants today:

I don't think that's necessarily bad. However, a second opinion would help.

Here is something else I noticed on another plant:

This particular plant is growing a little more slowly than the others. It had some issues the other week, but got a good amount of flushing. What's up with the tips tho? I'm guessing it's a mg def?

Mg def. Based on the age and rust spots and yellowing on lower leaves + badly curled tips.

Epsom salt or cal/mag should fix that right up.

The last picture with the browning on the fringes is something else obviously. My guess is the root-zone is/was too soggy or stagnant. Are you adding fresh water daily or letting it use up the hempy res over say 2-3 days?

I'm feeding them full strength daily actually. I talked to Harry about it, and he said that's what he did. Should I cut back for a day or two?

I don't think the strength of your solution has anything to do with it, but higher EC does = easier Mg def. Don't doubt Harry's formula or results, but in your case for whatever reason (higher RH vs. Harry perhaps?) it seems like too much water is accumulating in the res. This is just my opinion though and I'm surprised nobody else has chimed in w/ hempy being so popular.

Might not hurt to set aside a tester and not water it until it completely extinguishes what is in its res. If it takes longer than 48-72 hours to do that there is your problem though.

Never doubted the guy for a minute. It's my bungling.

I've noticed that occasionally, there are some problems with run off. Perlite clogging up the hole and what not.
