Just picked up some ONA Block and it's making my whole room smell PHRESH!
How long does the shit last if you just take the cap off and don't bother with drilling holes haha

r u using a carbon filter too or just the ona gel? cuz the ona from what ive read will not do the job all on its own during flowering especially. But i never used it so i cant really comment on it from personal experience only what reviews ive read online.

I'm using a ghetto rigged carbon filter and i'm not sure how effective it truly is...
It consists of 3" pvc piping with nylons trapped between couplers, filled with carbon, and attached to a 80 mm pc fan x 2
Look at this tek if my explanation is too obscure for you haha

got 6 vegging right now and as soon as they show their damned preflowers(I'm starting to get worried...) I'll chop the males and select my 3 finest females(god willing there are 3) to scrog =)

Does it have an overpowering smell? I want something I don't notice.
I've tried other blocks and they just reek.
What flavor out ONA did you get?

Its not 'overpowering' but you can definitely notice it - not a bad thing however...
I got the 'natural' scent i THINK; It actually doesn't even say it on the container but its green and its all that the shop had

Same one I got, smells like the "linen" scent I see a lot of. Just a nice fresh smell. It's only really powerful when you're standing right over it. Otherwise you just get nice whiffs of it nice and then from any breeze.

Expect to see preflowers between 30-45 days. I'm sure you're just fine.
