So myself and a buddy decided to start out small and expand as we learned much more about cultivating. We are new to this site so any input is very appreciated. Through alot of teaching and advice from a good friend. Things seem to be going pretty well. One is a clone which was received from a party whom wishes to not be named. It is just a little ways into flowering. Any opinions? A question we have, is from the moment we got this clone, it seemed to already be flowering. Even under 24 hour light using 3 150w cfl's, the plant continued to flower. This plant from the potting soil up is just one big cola. We also have a little guy who seems to be thriving pretty well in it's new grow box. about a week and a half in. Any further opinions?
using some standard saphgum peat moss mixed in with some perlite and some generic bark for aertion. We're looking at using the B.C. Grow, boost, bloom nutrients or fox farms tri pack of nutrients. We have 3 150w cfl's setup in a well ventilated box.
We're looking to start up bigger on the next crop. It is definitely a learning process.
Thanks for the welcome! Can't wait to hear some feedback!
you'll want to be careful of using just peat moss for pH reasons, it tends to fluctuate pretty wildly later in the grow. that first plant you posted pictures of it already hurtin' pretty good...
The clone isn't hurting too badly. It has lots of new growth. It's the damndest thing any of my friends have ever seen. The whole entire plant you see there is one big bud. We really had no control over the beginning growth of the clone. The buds on it look pretty and it's got a reallly skunky smell to it. The trichomes are starting to appear as well.
The little guy is just growing so quickly. It is definitely turning into the mother plant we have looked for.
I also forgot to mention that both plants are being grown the LST way. So if that makes more sense as to why the clone is pulled to the side and not growing vertically.
As for the Ph issues. We do have a ph tester that we definitely intend to use.
Any opinions on the sta green soil from miracle gro?
