i am pretty sure that someone here (i thought coaster) posted these pictures before. As they come from a small island in the Persian gulf as I recall. i can't remember the island name. The forest on Mt. Kilimanjaro also has some epic life in its jungle.

I think maybe he's referring to mushrooms, or maybe some kind of fungus at a microscopic level (rhizomorphic mycelium?)....
The bottom of trees did kinda remind me of when I was growing mushrooms and I got a fat-ass one, like this one....
Even the smoothness of the trunk and the smoothness of the cubenis seem similar...but after that, the tops of both of them look nothing alike...
Myabe he was trying to be vague just to make us go "Hmmm...like what?".
But, in the case of mushrooms, I do see some similarities...

well, how it seems to split off.. it seems like that whole set of trees are just mutating off of eachother. how they seem to be branching off from the same rooted clump etc.
even the branches look kind of like Mycelium
oh and their white appearance.. reminds me of mushroom stems as they're growing
like this one:
how it's just growing out of the side of a rock. seems like the work of fungi to me

Oh yeah, I guess I guessed right... fungus as in mushrooms and mycelium.
Yeah, ther tree growing off the rock looks like a magic mushroom growing off the side of a cake....I see the resemblance now...
And that first tree, the organic UFO one, it also looks like branching neurons in the brain...or a space view of tiny streams coming from a large river.
Definitely cool stuff...
