well, the heavy snow fall in the north east resulted in a power out. there is supposed to be another big snow fall and who knows what itll do. i want to keep them in veg. how many hours of light may be absent without changing it? would having the lights off for over 24 hours harm the plants veg cycle if it goes straight back to 24hr light veg cycle?

Some people do 18/6 lighting. I think you will be fine if you get them back to 24 hours a day tomorrow. But try not to go any longer than that.

My power was out today, but only for a couple hours. I got lucky.
Just try to keep the cycle even, if it has to be off for little bit, make sure to keep them off until its been 24 hours then resume original schedule.
