bro its not ironic, its more coincidental than anything. And it's certainly not noteworthy.
Its like saying that it's ironic that cars can end peoples lives and ammbulances save peoples live cause they both have wheels.
The supposed "irony" is that they both have tetrahydro in the name and one causes red eyes and one fixes it, but the tetrahydro part is not really significant, it's nomenclatural and differentiates thc from other cannibinoids, but the tetrahydro part is insignificant.
Theres no reason to suspect that another totally unrelated compound with tetrahydro in the name wouldn't clear red-eyes. Sorry man but it's just not irony, and you're not allowed to call me jew in smoke lounge. Say that shit to me in the dome bro.

OK, fine. Can we call it Partial Irony?
The Partial Irony is that one causes eye redness, and the other relieves it, and they have the same first "name" (chemical)!
Sure, there's other chemicals that have the same property as this eye drop solution and there are lots of chemicals with the prefix "tetrahydro", but the fact there is one out there with a similar name is pretty cool.

OK, Let me explain using a metaphor...
This eye drop brand and weed's chemcial names are like 2 people who have the first name, but different last names. Lets say they both have the first name Dali. One's named Dali Lamla (the ultra-nice Tibean Monk), which is acting as the "Tetrahydro" eye drops and ones' named Dali Herbalton, which is acting as Chronic Budz. Dali Herbalton is evil and goes around and giving random people a mild hallucinogen without their permission. The Dali Lamla saves the day by flying where Dali Herbalton is and mentally "taking him out", so he can no longer give people drugs. Therefore, the irony is that one helps stop something that the other caused, and they both have the same first name.
Yeah, that metaphor was pretty bad. A better irony would that if you extracted weed to a oil (cannabutter) and you dropped it into your eyes, it cured red-eye caused by smoking weed. That would be *real* irony right?
