Clogging im not really worried about much. I can reposition the roots away from the sprayers by just taking out the net cups which you can see in one of the pics. There will be no root restriction at all since they can grow the entire length of the tubes. I attached some pictures to show you some of the plumbing. I have a nice pump that is about 190 gph at a high PSI for great spray.









Please stop me if im getting to picture happy.....I think you will apericate that more during the actual plants phase.....Plant pics will be within 5-7 days...

Well to tell you the truth I have no rules at all when it comes to it. I went to my local hydro store and they told me which pump to get. They had a 400gph pump that I was looking at which they told me would not work because of the low PSI. So I suppose its not how much it can push but how hard.

And the good pics will come, im more excited then you are about it trust me.

Hello Everybody. Thought I would give you a little update. I planted all 12 of the Fem seeds and 8 of them took well so it looks like im going to have 4 empty pots. (Not to big of a deal since im going to go with clones next time). Here are some pics of the ladies. Enjoy!







I am thinking they will be ready for the system with about half strength nutes in another week. What do you think?

Wow! Awesome setup. I have been looking for those damn fence rails at my local HD for years, they never seem to have them around here. Do you have your sprayer/pump filtered to prevent nozzle clogging? I've been told that is a huge concern with aero.

Yea there is a filter on the pump itself.....

I actually didnt get the post from HD I got it from lowes. HD didnt have them around here either

Its that time again, for an update. Put them in the system 2 days ago so now there are on a veg cycle of 16 on and 6 off. I am giving them half strength nutes for now and will probably switch to full in a week or two. I am using Fox farms grow big specifically for Hydro systems so hopefully we get some good results. Growth in the last 10 days seems to have been very nice. Temps are at 88 as seen in the pic which may be a little bit on the high side but I will have to deal with it. Enjoy the pics and please leave some comments.

did you mean to say that your light cycle is 16 on and 6 off? did you mean 8 off, or 18/6?

Its that time again for an update, these were taken yesterday which marks one week from the last updated picture. As you can see the growth is very fast and the plants are very healthy, I am very very pleased so far, also please note that these are only on half strength nutes (will be going full in a few days).





And here are some nice shots of the root development





I am assuming these are going to be make some sweet ass clones and buds!

Yes this setup will support 4-5ft. plants with no problem. This is actually Stinkbuds setup which was featured in HighTimes a few months back. Frizzle just altered the height and shape. I'm guessing due to the size and shape of his room. And you guys should have no problem running molasses through the system as I have used molasses in mine in a few runs.

Actually this is my setup, no idea who stinkbud is. I just took the aeroflo and made it how I wanted. I have the pump on 24/7 as I was advised to do by my hydro shop and it is working quite nicely. I strongly recommend this system to everybody!

I only meant that I did not copy it, i'm not the only one that has ever built one. And dont talk crap about duct tape, its holds most of the world together. Also no reason to call it somebody's setup considering these were originally designed by NASA. Just relax, enjoy my shit, and maybe have a smoke when its finished.



Which reminds me, when this is finished I would like everybody to join me on here and take a puff in celebration.

I wasn't dissing your setup, It just looked very similar to the article in HighTimes and on the board that StinkBud gave the tutorial on. I said your grow was looking good. And if duct tape works for you then keep using it. Do what works. Afterall the final product is what matters.

the duct tape is actually only holding on a piece of plastic that allows the water to run down a bit instead of free falling into the res, it cut down on the noise a LOT.
