so magash what's the largest size you've grown sweet16 to? I would love to do some 5 gallon containers and grow a 4 foot long nug on a stick but I'm sure that wouldn't be the most effective way to grow a scrog plant like that. thoughts?

Well it won't grow like a stick from seed. You would have to ad a true hemp plant (and some have done it) but there is no way I'll cross that line. I got the plant to be very low branching and that took forever but it will grow into a normal plant when given space and is a pretty good yielder. Since it takes a bit to branch the plant has a very cone shape to it when it gets taller.
To get the most from it as a larger plant I would top it one or even two times to get the full yield.

oh ok... it kinda looks like a giant stick-bud in those pictures you posted earlier in this thread, but I can't really tell the scale too easily. are those 1 gallon pots? and did you manually remove any side branches, or was it just that they were flowered early to prevent branching?

ahh beautiful. well that's good because with any seed batch I would plan on cloning the best phenotype anyway, so maybe future rounds I could try that. how big are the containers in that picture?

When he does 64 plants per 4x4' or 4plants per sq ft I believe he uses 16 ounce cups or at least something similar in size.

I believe in the past he said those plants were in a 4x8 room with 2000W, but you could definitely be right about the container size

4x4 with 64 plants could just be doubled for the 4x8'
I'm sure he's done sweet 16 under 400s, 600s, and 1000s and 1000s side by side.
breaks down to 4 plants per sq ft and 4x4' per 1kw bulb.

Tall and Narrow containers FTMFW!!!
I need to find a company that sells grow bags that are 1 gallon, but only 4-5 inches across... That way I could fit 8 more plants into my grow box.
